With one of the most iconic skylines in the world, with the CN Tower and the Rogers Centre (formerly the Skydome) at the heart of the scene, Toronto never fails to impress its visitors. A city for all seasons – where you can relax on a beach in the summer and walk through crisp white snow in the winter – it also boasts amazing shopping, an abundance of museums, art galleries and attractions, international dining and a bustling nightlife - there really is something for everyone on a holiday in Toronto.

Fancy some retail therapy? Head downtown to the Eaton Centre, home to over 285 shops and restaurants. The St Lawrence Market in Old Town Toronto along with the Kensington, Yonge Street and Yorkville markets are great places to pick up a bargain or two. The exclusive shops in Bloor and Yorksville are tops for designer wear.

The Harbourfront Centre is a great place to spend some time too with its art galleries, theatres, craft boutiques and restaurants to explore. Or why not just enjoy a relaxing stroll along the waterfront or take to the water on a sailboat. At 10-minute ferry ride from the foot of Yonge Street will take you across to Centre Island to discover miles of parkland, picnic tables and BBQ's, beaches, cycle paths, children's farm and amusement park. For the children, Toronto Metro Zoo and the Wonderland Theme Park are great for a fun-filled time.

Of course, no trip to Toronto would be complete without a trip across Lake Ontario to Niagara Falls, with a ride on the Maid of the Mist a must-do experience.
