This seven-night Eastern Canada Self-Drive holiday includes two nights in Toronto, one night in Ottawa, two nights in Quebec, one night in Montreal, and one night in Kingston.

This Canadian self-drive holiday is a great way to discover a variety of bustling and beautiful cities at your own pace. A land dominated by forest and stunning scenery, yet also so urbanised with towering skyscrapers and modern shopping centres; in Canada you’ll be sure to have the best of both worlds.

Your self-drive adventure begins with a flight from the UK to Toronto. Pick up your hire car and drive to your contemporary hotel for a two-night stay; with famous attractions such as the CN Tower, Royal Ontario Museum, and Allan Gardens nearby. Your journey then continues with one night in a quaint hotel in Canada’s capital, Ottawa, then onto a traditional-style hotel in Quebec for one night – home to one of Canada’s largest shopping centres, Laurier Quebec.

Drive onwards to Montreal for a one-night stay on an island in the St Lawrence River, just a stone’s throw away from vibrant Sainte-Catherine Street. The finale of your trip is one night in a modern hotel in Kingston surrounded by beautiful gardens and architecture. Your self-drive holiday comes to an end on day eight when you drop your car off at the airport and take your flight home back to the UK.

Days 1 to 3 - UK to Toronto (Chelsea Hotel)

Your Canadian self-drive holiday get underway with your flight from the UK to Toronto. Pick up your car hire at the airport and transfer to the Chelsea Hotel for a two-night room-only stay. The Bond Hotel is located at the foot of Yonge and Dundas Square in the heart of Downtown Toronto. Urban meets adventure at this contemporary Canada hotel; from the bright and social lobby through to the stylish and well-equipped guest rooms, you'll have no problem making yourself at home!

Make plans for your day over a relaxed cooked-to-order breakfast. Step outside the hotel and go shopping at the high-end shops at The CF Toronto Eaton Centre, look for bargains at Kensington Market and St Lawrence Market, or explore Allen Gardens Conservatory and Yorkville.

Contemporary design meets chic style in the guest rooms and suites. From comfy beds to aid a restful night's sleep to Wi-Fi access to keep in touch, individual climate control to cool things down, and tea/coffee making facilities so you can make a drink whenever you wish - you'll soon settle in.

Days 3 to 4 - Ottawa (Hilton Garden Inn)

Drive from Toronto to Canada’s capital city, Ottawa, in the east of southern Ontario. Check into the Hilton Garden Inn for a one-night room-only stay. Located in Downtown Ottawa, you're just a short walk from the National Arts Centre and Parliament Hill. Cruise along Dow's Lake, pick up some Canadian souvenirs from the bustling Byward Market, and take a stroll around Gatineau Park. You can even get cultural at the Canadian Museum of Nature and the National Gallery of Canada.

The facilities at Capital Hill Hotel and Suites include: a cafe, parking, Internet access, business centre, gym, photocopies/fax, and laundry/dry cleaning services.

Bibliotheque Cafe serves up a variety of scrumptious delights at breakfast and lunch. Start your day with a traditional Canadian breakfast or fill up on eggs Benedict and pancakes. At lunchtime, tuck into soup, salads, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, and pasta. Finish your meal off with a slice of chocolate truffle or red velvet cake.

Days 4 to 6 - Quebec (Littoral Hotel & Spa)

From Ottawa you'll then drive on to Quebec; a predominantly French-speaking province in eastern Canada. Arrive at Chateau Bellevue for a two-night bed and breakfast stay. Located in the centre of Old Quebec, this hotel is near to the St Lawrence River and Musee de la Civilisation. With six large shopping centres found within under a half an hour drive, you can shop until you drop. Be sure to visit Laurier Québec, one of Canada's largest shopping centres. For a change of scenery, visit the aquarium or explore authentic lifestyle and culture at the Traditional Huron Site.

Days 6 to 7 - Montreal (Hotel Les Suites LaBelle)

After a fun two days in Quebec, you'll then move on to Montreal, the largest city in the Quebec province. Check into Hotel Les Suites Labelle for a one-night room-only stay. This pleasant hotel is just a stone's throw away from Sainte-Catherine Street with its interconnecting tower buildings and shopping complexes, Notre Dame Basilica, and Bonsecours Market. Montreal Botanical Garden is also a must-see place to visit; boasting over 185 acres of native and exotic flora with themed greenhouses and gardens including a Chinese Lantern Garden.

Les Suites Labelle has a plethora of facilities including: an American breakfast buffet, complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access, fitness centre, 24-hour reception, business centre, rooftop terrace, luggage storage, reservation service, tourist information counter, vending machines, indoor parking, and laundry room.

Admire the beautiful architecture at Kingston City Hall or stroll around the beautiful gardens at Bellevue House.
