As well as the star studded attractions of Tinseltown, there's an offbeat side to the city, where you can hunt down edgy art galleries and hip live music venues. Head out of town for brilliant theme parks and discount shopping malls.
We love L.A. for its endless list of things to do and unique vibe - and we think you'll know what we mean from the moment you arrive.
7 nights - Royal Solaris Los Cabos - Los Cabos
Nestled at the southern tip of Mexico's Baja California Peninsula; Los Cabos boasts breathtaking sea, desert, and mountainous landscapes. It's often referred to as 'Land's End' because of its position and is the perfect destination if you’re looking for plenty to do. The Arch of Cabo San Lucas is a spectacular arch-shaped rock you must see, or Lovers Beach is ideal for those of you who love to challenge yourself with snorkelling and kayaking. Cabo Pulmo National Park is also a great spot to discover a host of fascinating marine life.
Los Cabos' grandest historical landmark is Mission San Jose del Cabo Church; a Colonial-style building founded in the 18th century. San Jose del Cabo Art Walk is home to organised lectures, wine evenings, meet and greets, and live music; as well as up to a dozen galleries. Hike to the peak of Land's End, Mount Solmar, and discover the most rewarding views of Los Arcos and San Lucas Bay. Enjoy a spot of whale watching along Mexico's Pacific Coast or pay a visit to Wirikuta Botanical Cactus Garden to see over 1,500 varieties of cacti and succulents from all over the world.
