At speeds of over 300 km/h, the world’s fastest cars and their drivers will once again take on the exhilarating turns and straights of the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit at the Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix 2020. The circuit takes in everyday sections of road that circle Albert Park Lake, near the central business district of Melbourne, with the temporary street course being 5.3km long. There are a total of 16 corners with 10 right turns and 6 left turns and the track offers few genuine overtaking opportunities, except if the driver ahead makes a mistake.

Arrive in Melbourne and transfer to the Pegasus Apart'Hotel for a seven-night stay. This ultra-modern hotel is located next to Queen Victoria Market, and close to a variety of attractions such as Melbourne Zoo, Sea Life, and the Eureka Skydeck.
The plethora of on-site facilities include a swimming pool, spa, gym, restaurant, bar, self-service laundry, meeting rooms, executive lounge, 24-hour reception, luggage storage, car park, and complimentary Wi-Fi access.
The hotel offers an open dining atmosphere in the on-site Italian restaurant. Enjoy a buffet breakfast that includes scrambled eggs, sausages and bacon, roasted tomatoes, and a la carte options like eggs Benedict; accompanied by fresh juice, cereal, bread, pastries, fruit, and yoghurts. Bargain-hunting can be enjoyed with a visit to the open-air Queen Victoria Market. Stop by Ian Potter Centre and Australian Centre for the Moving Image in Federation Square or discover the atmospheric Old Melbourne Gaol.
Enjoy a walk across the Otay Fly Treetop Walk or marvel at the 360-degree views from Eureka Skydeck 88. Experience up-close encounters of a range of marine life at Melbourne Aquarium and the wildlife at Melbourne Zoo and Healeville Sanctuary. Admire the stunning flora and fauna at Royal Botanic Gardens or perhaps head to Brighton, Williamstown, and St Kilda beaches to swim, surf, or sunbathe.
During the next three days, you can plan your time around your visits to the Melbourne's Albert Park Circuit. You'll have tickets for entry into the Waite or Clark Grandstands - Waite Grandstand overlooks the cars as the speed into the apex of Turn 11 and quickly change direction into Turn 12; this fast switchback means it’s a great area to see some action. Clark Grandstand overlooks Turns 9 and 10 so you'll get to witness drivers move through the challenging braking area of Turn 9 into the sweeping, long bend of Turn 10.
Friday sees the First Practice Session at 12:00 to 13:30 and the Second Practice Session at 16:00 to 17:30. Saturday comprises the Third Practice Session at 14:00 to 15:00 and the Qualifying Session at 17:00 to 18:00. And finally - Race Day on the Sunday - with the 58-lap race lasting from 16:10 to 18:10.
