Experience the gripping 2020 Canadian Grand Prix with a stay in Montreal with Hays Travel!
Set on the unique Gilles Villeneuve Circuit of Ile de Notre Dame in Montreal, the Canadian Grand Prix is one of the Formula 1 season's highlights. The circuit nestles amongst futuristic buildings and was renamed in honour of the highly famous Canadian driver, Gilles Villeneuve, who died during practice and had won the first F1 race held on the Isle Notre Dame circuit in 1978.
The track itself is 4.361km long and offers spectators a thrilling show thanks to its high-speed nature and tight margins. Its layout is popular with drivers because it is one of the very few Grand Prix tracks where overtaking is possible.
