Day 1-4 - Hanoi - Golden Silk Boutique Hotel (Bed & Breakfast)

Your Vietnam Coast to City holiday starts when you make your way from the UK to the city of Hanoi where you'll check into your chosen hotel for a three-night stay.

Nestled on the banks of the Red River, Hanoi is the capital city of Vietnam. During your time here take a stroll through the bustling Old Quarter to discover the beauty of Bach Ma Temple and experience street food flavours at Dong Xuan Market. Escape to nearby tranquil Hoan Kiem Lake and make your way across a red bridge to one of the lake's islands, which is home to Ngoc Son Temple. Culture fans will love Temple of Literature, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Military History Museum, Fine Art Museum, and Vietnam Museum of Ethnology.

While you're here a must-see is one of Hanoi's water puppet shows at the Municipal Water Puppet Theatre or take time to walk alongside Tay Ho Lake to view the Tay Ho and Tran Quoc Pagoda. Marvel at the spectacular One Pillar Pagoda, a reconstructed ancient Buddhist temple of 1049, or take a trip to discover the beauty of Temple of the Jade Mountain. Pass by Presidential Palace, which was built for the French governor general of Indochina, to draw your stay to a close.

Day 4-7 - Hoi An - Hoi An Beach Resort (Bed & Breakfast)

Fly from Hanoi to Da Nang for your two-night stay. Da Nang is a bustling port, packed with fascinating sights, tantalising restaurants and beautiful pergolas. But this city, on the South Central coast of Vietnam, is also home to some pretty spectacular beaches.

The region surrounding Da Nang boasts breathtaking natural beauty, including the Marble Mountains and Lao Mountain Range. For amazing views of the city and the ocean, head to the lofty Hai Van Pass, or take a trip on the Ba Na Hill Cable Car.

Day 7-11 - Ho Chi Minh - Blue Diamond Hotel (Room Only)

Arrive in Ho Chi Minh where you'll check in for your final three nights stay at your chosen hotel.

A city in southern Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh is famous for the pivotal role it played in the Vietnam War. French colonial landmarks including Notre-Dame Cathedral and the 19th-century Central Post Office can be discovered here, as well as food stalls lining the city's streets. Spend time at Ben Thanh Market and sample an array of traditional Vietnamese street food. Visit the colourful floating markets of Mekong Delta, before you head to Jade Emperor Pagoda and the National Museum of Vietnamese History.

Discover wartime Vietnam at the Cu Chi tunnels and Independence Palace, then treat yourself to port, sticky rice, and seafood dishes flavoured with lemongrass, coconut milk, and peanut dipping sauce. Explore the large maze of wartime Cu Chi Tunnels that were used by Viet Cong soldiers and check out the weapons, photographs, and other fascinating objects from the Vietnam and Indochina wars. Wander through Backpacker Street for an abundance of shops and nightlife.
