Your holiday gets underway with your flight from the UK to the charming city of Boston, where you’ll spend the first two nights at Yotel Boston on a room-only basis. A city of contrasts, Boston blends colonial charm with urban sophistication, brownstone lined streets and modern skyscrapers, big city entertainment and a small-town atmosphere.
This morning you have free time to explore the city at your own pace. In the afternoon, enjoy an included Boston History & Highlights Walking Tour, where a local guide will take you on a tour of Boston’s most iconic sites, as well as some of the lesser-known ones. Visit the iconic Boston Harbor, explore the famous Freedom Trail, take in the beauty of Beacon Hill, and enjoy a surprise local treat.
Today you will travel to New York City by Amtrak train. On arrival, you will check into The Edison Hotel NYC for three nights on a room-only basis. There’s lots to see and do in New York, so once you’ve dropped your bags off it’s time to head out and explore. Perhaps stroll through Central Park, indulge in some retail therapy, take pictures of the Statue of Liberty, or visit the 9/11 Memorial to pay tribute. Bidding farewell to New York, you will travel again by Amtrak train to Washington DC, where you will spend the last two nights of your holiday at Yotel Washington DC on a room-only basis. Sightseeing is a must on a visit to Washington, with so many world-famous landmarks and places to visit – The White House, Capitol Hill, the Pentagon, The Lincoln Memorial, Arlington Cemetery, and the Smithsonian Museum to name but a few. But the city’s attractions don’t stop there; enjoy boutique and designer shopping, trendy cafés, live music venues, Broadway productions, great bars and restaurants, and a buzzing nightlife.
Today, explore the city and experience the joy and freedom of riding a Segway. After learning how to ride your Segway, you'll roll right up the centre of Pennsylvania Avenue, glide to the monuments and memorials on the National Mall, and visit some other fun spots along the way. On this tour you will see: the US Capitol Building, Library of Congress, Supreme Court, Smithsonian Castle and several Smithsonian museums, Washington Monument, WWII Memorial, Korean War Veterans Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, the White House, and more. The rest of the day is at leisure.
